Detective Comics, 1067 issues
Detective Comics began publication in 1937. In 2011 the numbering ended at 881 due to the moronic New 52 promotion. At that point a new Detective Comics series began again with issue 1. However in 2016 the original numbering was continued with issue 934, which included the 52 comics of Vol 2 as part of Vol 1, and as such there are no Detective Comics issues that are numbered 882 to 933. To date there are 1067 issues. Unfortunately the cover for the 1000th issue was rather underwhelming, as was the cover for the new Detective Comics issue 1. They are not designed to be the iconic images that one would have expected them to be.
